The colors are great! I tried looking up the work you mentioned - a poem, apparently (?) - but am having difficulties finding an English translation. Also, was this in any way based on other interpretations of the poem as well?
This is pretty sweet. The more you look at it, the more memorized you become from the various colors and shapes that are going on. The face catches your attention without ruining a fantastic stand-alone background. It's purpose is mysterious, just like the namesake of the piece. Good work!
