I hope you are well, and I hope to be in touch eventually once I deal with a few personal and unfortunately serious health challenges. Real life always overrides the needs of our private souls and psyches. Nevertheless, it is a goal of mine to see certain fictional characters brought to life through art as only you would do it.
(((hugs for you )))
I have been holding a personal prayer for you (should any diety exist) so that you should be well and happy in the Ukraine during such difficult times. So relieved to see you are still here... More later...
Wonderful character you have and I enjoy the art nouveau vibe to the furnishings.
Valencia's story is truly unique, complex, and not for those seeking purely classic romance, fantasy or even sci-fi. And because I wished to be surprised by the finished product, I only gave AnnDR certain details and considerable freedom of choice. Granted, I tried to be fair and give her good guidelines. I felt she was savvy enough to read between lines, and even more special, I was confident she would take the time to read everything that must be shared and take as much from that as she could as well. I think she must be an extraordinarily observant person. (Hope her real life friends have come to value that--it's a great quality!)
Yet, beside her ability to excite you all with Val's unquestionable beauty, she made me understand even better why I chose her to paint one of my favorite (and most beloved) original characters. She plucked him out of a few billion possible red-headed androgenous males and brought him alive and safe to me. In the fantasy world I've built for him and several others, he now exists happily with his partner (also male) and their children. One of the happiest couples I have ever encountered.
I'm so grateful, Anna. I hope as more of this story becomes known to you over time, the fullness of the beauty and the gratitude I feel will be conveyed in such a way that you can experience and remember fondly, too.
